How does your garden grow?

We've been hard at work tending our garden in the Green Classroom. First we weeded, then planted, watered, and lots more weeding. Last week we put on some mulch to finish it all off. 

We even got our first harvest today!

The strawberries are getting ripe too. 

The radishes were too colourful to resist!

Hmmm...will she like it?

Yes! Because we grew it ourselves, more students than usual tried the spicy root, and lots asked for seconds. Connecting children to their food and the earth it comes from is so important.
